I have always LOVED Violet Days. Chris Monroe has a real cartoonists view of life! She can take the most mundane moments of childhood and make them wonderfully squeamish! Joanne

Cris Monroe has the best comic strip the Star Tribune has to offer. I have been a fan for years, and its the first thing I read on Fridays. She should be featured in the sunday comics. Congrats Cris..

Nice story! I love Chico Bon Bon and the witty rhymes. Chris is a awesome illustrator. I have a piece from her early art days ... a deranged Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney. It's my favorite. Can't wait to see this collaboration!

"Monkey With a Tool Belt and the Noisy Problem" is my favorite book to read to my kids (one on my son's favorites, too!). Awesome stuff!

I love 'Violet Days' and I wish that there were some way that I could share it with people beyond the Twin Cities, like an online version.
