Los Angeles easily dominated Minnesota, which lacked energy and discipline in a bruising loss.

Why does this team, no matter who is the coach or GM, always play like utter garbage on the west coast?

Yuck! Where the heck is the on-ice leadership (Koivu) ... AGAIN! Zidlicky was his usual dreadful self, but the rest of the defense was pretty bad too. The Peters boarding call was marginal, Harding was awful and the team was sleepwalking. And maybe it's just me, but I think Kyle Brodziak is just not very good.

MK needs to score goals, no doubt. But the questioning of leadership is ridiculous because he can't will others to score goals. Its a team game. Also, consider how much time our key players have had to spend killing off penalties. You don't think that has had an impact on their games? The Wild have been extremely flat at the start of both games. Then, they get a flurry of 1st period penalties. Add on top of that, injuries to key players. So by the time they can even begin to establish a flow to their own game, its the second period, and they are already behind. Road game, less than 20 games into a new season, with a new coach and new players and a new system, only a few points behind the conference leaders, you can't win every game, key injuries on a team that can't afford them, etc. Absolutely crappy games, yes, but tossing in the towel, no.

Stay out of the box and things can only get better.

As someone pointed out before, the salaries paid to Koivu and PMB are way too high. Not sure what the right price is, but I want my money back.

Yeo needs to sit Staubitz down. He is taking TOO many dumb penalties. Being hard-nosed and aggressive is one thing...but Staubitz is taking WAY TOO MANY needless penalties and it is KILLING the Wild. He's not alone...but, he is the main culprit!

I too am sick of PMB. What a waste of a roster spot.

This result is why you don't play musical goalies. Harding was hot and then has to sit out a game to keep little Backie happy. Regardless of the outcome yesterday, use Harding and keep him there. I'm so sick of watching the Wild being outshot and dominated game in and game out.
