How about shooting the puck? Where is Yeo's plan about pucks on net or trying something besides dump and chase?

Why can this guy not stay healthy? He's great when he plays but it's becoming a rare occasion. Knowing his history he'll be out months. Bad break.

Hopefully Gui is back soon, the guy knows how to score. Unlike the guy wearing the C and making the big$$$. Something needs to change with Mikko, of the measly 22 shots he had only 1 and with the amount of PP time in addition to his regular minutes that is SQUAT. Did he spend too much time under Lemaire, where he was overly defensive ? I'm not sure, but he's getting too much ice time to be playing the role of checking line center.

Hopefully Yeo makes the right decision and puts Johnson, not CC on the first line. I know that would upset Russo terribly, but it would be best for the Wild's chances of winning. Too bad for Lats, and the Wild because of it. But just about every team has a key injury every year, you just have to adapt and move on. CF is working on rebuilding the depth of fhe Wild. Until then, something like this is going to haveva more detrimental impact than perhaps it will down the road. IIsnt this exactly the type of situation to put Wellman in go see if he is a top two line forward in tge NHL?

Does anyone else notice we have poor positioning when we are in their zone? I rarely see someone in front of their net. I watch guys in the corner with the puck and no one to pass to that is in position to take a shot! I watch Heatly, I am amazed he scores as much as he does. Watch the good players and they are in a good position, in front of the net, where if they did get a pass out of the corner, or from behind the net, they can take a quick shot on goal. This has been going on for years. Anyone else notice that or am I crazy?

I agree mrbluesky...why can't we have SOMEONE- anyone in front of or even close to the front of the net....so many missed chances to put the puck(hopefully) into the net. Why???

MR BLUESKY, Ive actually seen heaters and lats crash tthe net quite a bit but other than that you are right no one on our team gets in front of the net. i hope this is a short thing but honestly every time i hears lats is hurt i think here we go again and hes gonna be out awhile. i hope that is not the case because hes been playing very well at all ends and is one of the few who will fire the puck on net. lats get healthy and do whatever you need to to stay on the ice the rest of the year.
