The kidnapping ordeal of Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos ended after two days when Venezuelan police commandos swooped in to rescue him.

of course, the joke on the radio was the govt should offer matt capps for him. that being said, this doesn't bode well for winter league in Venezuela.

This is great news, and I'm especially happy for Wilson and the Ramos family, but I still think we could have negotiated a hostage swap for Matt Capps.
