I honestly think going to a small market team was the best route for Rubio. They'd furnish the environment of people who'd be the most receptive and warm to him, even through growing pains that will likely occur. In LA people would be more callously indifferent to another celebrity, in NY they'd sooner berate him than cheer him on. In other markets right now, he might struggle to get minutes, which might hurt development.

I honestly think he needs to have a "trainer" help him develop his shot; in a hurry. People here will not be cool with Rubio if he cannot be a leader --pressure will be on him early. I cannot anyone being good with last year's PG starter (I have successfully forgot his name) getting significant playing time.

Looks like Mr. Rubio's debut will not happen until next year--at least.

Rubio is at least 3 years away from making an impact. Just give him time and then lets see.

Beasley, Love, Williams and Rubio get all the press but who knows; maybe Athony Randolph will emerge as a star.
