You make it sound so easy homer. The Vikings were pinned right up to the salary cap, so how would they fix all of that? Mcnabb was $5 million, but they couldn't have just cut a bunch of guys because of cap penalties for the following years. It's just not that simple or this team would have a superbowl trophy by now.

If I remember, even after the losing the first two games by not scoring a point in the second half, the fans were clamoring to put Ponder in at half time. What was there to lose? We were already losing. I would call the story, " Six miserable Viking's momements." Another miserable one, is Harvin getting fined for an altercation caused by "Captain", #41 of the Panthers. He instigated the whole thing.

Correct on all 5 evaluations of the losses but Dan is missing the ONE thing would have changed 2 or 3 of those losses into wins. PONDER instead of McNabb at QB. I don't care what the coach says about Ponder suddenly showing he was ready only a few weeks ago and you just don't start rookies at QB, that's all OLD SCHOOL thinking like reading a newspaper! PONDER should have started the season just like Dalton and Newton. The Vikes would be at least 4-4 or even 5-3. It's only taken 33 years for the VIkes to find another potentially great QB! Tark hands off the crown to Ponder. No, Favre, Cunningham, Moon, etc... ever were REAL VIKINGS like Tarkenton and now Ponder.

I suspect that McKinnie WANTED to be traded.

Just win the rest of our games and we can forget all about those things. Ponder wasn't ready til week five anyway.

Robison kicking the Packer linebacker was a miserable moment, also. Especially for the Packer. One time this Pirate came into a bar with the ship's steering wheel attached to his groin area. Bartender gives him a beer and asks what the steering wheel is for. Pirate says Arrrrrrr, it's driving me nuts.

Frazier only wanted a veteran QB for one year thats why he picked McNabb. No one knew he was going to have this much of a negative effect on the team. Only seen McKinnie play once on MNF and he did not look any better than Johnson at LT so I say Vikes won that one because of McKinnies attitude. The only thing Vikes did wrong there is they did not try to trade McKinnie for at least a low round pick. The biggest low this year is the powers that be procrastinating on the stadium issue and letting it go until the last minute once again. The Vikings aren't forcing your hand you dealt it too yourselves by avoiding the issue.Ponders play has given the team and fans hope that this bad start won't happen again next year so lets keep them in Minnesota.
