A contract clause may keep the Vikings in the Dome for 2012. The team disagrees.

Well, when Zygi puts the team on the team bus with all the equipment and sends them off to Los Angeles he really won't be force majured into too much of anything at that point....

This changes nothing. Public funds should not be used to subsidize professional sports.

This is hilarious. Wilf & Co must have crapped their pants when they heard this. The agreement looks pretty clear-cut. An additional season is required. Can't wait to see them try to weasel their way out of this one.

It looks like the debate goes on... Why doesn't Wilf develop that Arden Hills site without public money? Get your outdoor stadium, get your development opportunities and pay property taxes! That is the way business should function.

Oh goodie....let's deal with the issue next year then. I'm sure everyone will be on the same page by then right? The time for procrastination is over.....we've been doing that for 10 years. The time to decide is now.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this "pack up and head to LA" belief seems a little premature, is the stadium built and complete down there? Does Wilf have a buyer? Or is he going to pay to move them? I hate the thought of it but have to ask. I really hope this one season extension to the lease doesn't table new stadium discussions, they should be breaking ground in the spring!

The "stadium solution" that Bagley refers to is right under his nose. The Metrodome has a new roof and new playing surface. DONE DEAL!

People that say no public money for a stadium or professional sports are fools to think the Vikings are not an asset to this state. Millions of dollars in revenue each year go to the state from these teams. It is the most popular form of entertainment in America.....and the majority of us that enjoy it could care less about what u think. Look forward to my first game in that stadium!!!

Geez. If I'm Wilf, I'm selling the team. Now, the state is going to sue me to play in the worst stadium in the NFL. Let's drag this out some more. What a joke. Quit dragging your feet. Settle this stadium issue once and for all. Are we trying to make them move or what? This is silly. The stadium collapsed. Maybe in 2012 the night before a game, someone can poke the dome with a pitchfork and force them to play there for 2013 too. Good grief. Enough. Resolve the stadium issue now.
