U freshman receiver Jones out for year, faces ACL surgery

Wide receiver Marcus Jones will miss the rest of the season, but coach Jerry Kill is hopeful he'll be ready in the spring.

Tough break for Marcus. I had the surgery years ago before modern medicine. It wasn't that bad, but the rehab is a long time before you are back to 100 per cent. The good news is that you can get there and be as good as ever. Good luck Markus!

That's a shame. Marcus was one of the real bright spots among the younger players this year. Hopefully he can make a full recovery and become a major contributor next season.

We need Marcus back next year he is one of the most exciting returners in the Big ?. Wishing you the best in your rehab work Marcus if you do that the way you play you should be just fine.
