I agree that the young defensemen played well. I was very disappointed to again see Zids give away the puck on numerous occasions. From my perspective the two poorest defensemen were Zids and Schultz. Fun game none the less. Harding was awesome and should be the number one goalie with Backs playing backup. Go Wild!!!

I would like to seee Zids and his contract go bye bye, but I think he's got a no-trade or no-movement clause in his contract. Good to see the kids push the vets, though.

Spurgeon is the best guy on the team night after night. Move Backstrom to backup. He is too slow and gives up too many soft goals. They know it but refuse to sit him because of what they are paying him.

When the DRW called their last timeout, you know who was onethe ice when play started again? Falk and Prosser. Yeo must have had a lot more confidence in them than Schultz and Zids, or Scandella and Spurgeon. Those two should be proud of the amount of confidence their coach showed in them.

mg, I read a lot of pubs saying the Wild's D would be the weak link and the worst in the division (Edmonton anyone?). I hope Fletch recognizes what he has here and trades Zids and Schultz. Falk and Prosser deserve to stay. With a year under their belts and having Granlund and some of the others coming in, could be real solid. BTW, with so many good prospects, nobody talks about Erik Haula who just happens to be leading the nation in scoring. Nice.

Zidlicky really needs to pick it up. He's been down right awful. Its nice seeing guys like Falk and Prosser step in and have success. Last night Schultz was a victim of having a struggling d partner.

Is anyone else alarmed that were 30th in the NHL in goals for per game at 1.90? Latendresse needs to start burying soon. Because the ghost that is PMB doesn't do much but float for 13 minutes a game. Starting to like Heatleys game more except I'd like to see him enter the O-zone with more speed and get better shots off.
