I saw a comment from Mark Dayton which bragged about Pogemiller's competence and intelligence. Hummmm. What can one say about a Democratic leader who managed to lead the Democrats in the State Senate to massive election losses and loss of control of the Senate for the first time in decades. Is Pogemiller competent and intelligent? Hardly.

I guess you don't Larry. If you did, you probably wouldn't say what you said. Your comment reflects less about Larry than it does about someone who is obviously uninformed.

Poge used to be my State Senator. Just another reason I am glad to have escaped Minneapolis.

You were a great Senator Larry. Good luck in your new post. As a constituent, I always felt well-represented by you.

I am extremely happy that he is leaving. Thank God and Greyhound. He did absolutely nothing as DFL Majority Leaders except allow Tim Pawlenty to ride herd on the Minnesota State Senate, and do as he (Pawlenty) damn well pleased. He was a failure. I weep for the Minnesota Educational System---He is a total looser.

Strange. It seems when there is a plum state job open some DFL legislator always ends up with the job. The repubs go into busines and the libs go into more government.

Everyone who voted for Tom Horner for Gov. should remember what a bad vote that was.
