Awesome. The stadium deal should be a priority for Minnesotans!!! Minneapolis makes so much more sense than Arden Hills. Cheaper...tax dollars from money spent downtown on gamedays. Good for businesses...sorry tailgaters. Build it in Minneapolis!!!!

Just one question, is there parking for 20,000 vehicles to tailgate in any of these sites? Arden Hill is in the "Cities" why do all of you think it is so far away? The way some of you talk you would think the Arden hills site is up by Grand Rapids!

Arden Hills is a useless place right now. What else will ever go there and utilize it. What a big plus for the twin city area to have that site developed. It is win-win for everyone.

MPLS blows for big events. Traffic, parking, walking, crowds, lines....it's all a huge hassle and cluster. Wanna use the light rail to get home after a game? Bring your snowmobile suit and battery powered socks because you'll be standing outside in -40 windchill for 2 hours before you get on a train. Used to be able to have a real game day experience in the old Washington Avenue lots but they had to build an arts center there that probably attracts fewer people annually than one game day worth of parking did. Sure glad my taxes paid for that...and I'm sure glad I got to vote on it first......oh wait. I didn't. For the size of events that a stadium this size is designed to host, a large site with flat, on site parking makes the most sense. The team can make enough money to afford to be competitive and the State can use the facility for all kinds of things the rest of the year. No private parking lot owners or other BS going on. All revenues for each event going to where they should be going.

Looks like a typical Democrat slight of hand to include corporate welfare to 2 entities in cementhead land with failed franchises or attractions!!! They use a new Viking stadium as the window dressing to make the rest of the states taxpayers subsidize another Metro boondoggle!!!!
