The party of "fiscal" responsibility. If you don't have money in the checkbook you have to cut expenditures, just like a family has to do when the bills out pace the income you have to make the hard choices! LOL Do as we say not as we do!

hey, they spend worse than Democrats! at least Democrats will raise income to pay the bills. "Big Mouth Tony" didn't get fired outright, that's the positive aspect for him.

So, it's ok for your party to go into debt to help your party, but it's not ok for the government to go into debt to help America? Yeah, that makes sense.

The party of so-called "fiscal responsibility" is broke. Just like the state and country they ran. Color me not surprised.

Time for the Republican Party to walk the talk and live within its means. Sorry GOP staffers but the Republican Party will have to lay you off. Don't worry you can get a pep talk from Herman Cain. "If you are not working, it's all your fault."

"Although the party is not legally obligated to pay those debts, several party officials believe the GOP is ethically bound to do so".

-----> I am the most rabid, right-wing "Christian" Conservative on this blog. However, I find this taking-on-debt but "la-dee-da-dee-da" run-away "not legally obligated to pay it back" concept .......rather disturbing.

Anyone who calls the current GOP "fiscal conservatives" needs their head checked. All we have these days in the establishment are the really big government party(Democrats) and big government party(Republicans). Hence why I am no longer a "republican". Nor am I a Democrat.
