Walz, Peterson join call for deficit action

The two U.S. House members are among about 100 lawmakers pressing both sides for a deal on the deficit.

And those that worry about their jobs finally speak. No surprise that Walz and Peterson are trying to get their names heard. They would sell their grandmother for re-election.

Both Walz and Peterson never met a Big Ag, rich farmer, or ethanol subsidy they didn't like. The same goes for Kline and Bachmann. All of these would indeed sell their grandmothers for a vote or a bribe (campaign contribution). In that, they are typical politicians. How do you spell "hypocrite"?

Nobody goes into politics thinking or knowing that whatever they stood for doesn't matter anymore, you want to be in our party, you are now a new puppet. Get rid of the two parties, after all are we not a united country.

While it's difficult to justify singling out one voter group to impose more taxes on...("tax the rich"), I think we can all agree that democrats who want to pay more in taxes, ought not be denied. The voluntary option, already available at the state and federal level, is under used by those who tell me "they want me to more taxes!" Start working on a way to mandate that..huh. leave me alone.
