Safety is not such a need for us? What the heck is Frazier smoking? Are you kidding me you have the worst S group in the entire NFL. My GOD this coach better wake up and in a hurry.

At this point it really doesn't matter? At this point the only thing he should be coming back for is to play safety, we already know we don't have anybody to play that position. Also time to tell Griffin he will be no longer be starting to see if any of our young CBs have starting potential.

Antoine Winfield has been such a great player for our Vikings. The guy plays with so much heart and enthusiasm. I think he's one of the finesat players to ever play for us. We could sure use him back this weekend. Even if its only in nickel packages where Antoine's primarily trying to stuff the run. Winfield's leadership is needed. I have a feeling this game vs. Carolina is going to be a very good one. I don't know whether we'll win or not. But what I am hoping to see is more positive production from Christian Ponder. I am very, very impressed so far. I really like his footwork. Also, I like his quick release and, when he looks downfield, I don't see bewilderment, I see him reading defenses and making ddecisions quickly. A la Favre! I just don't see Ponder failing as our future franchise QB. I just see too much potential. I am also looking forward to seeing our franchise superstar, Adrian Peterson, work his magic upon the Panthers. In my opinion, watching the Vikings is always exciting-win or lose-if Adrian Peterson is playing. Skol Vikings!

Well said. Winfield is one of the best to ever suit up for the Vikings. Ponder can give this franchise what it has never had. A super bowl win. Lets enjoy Ponder, Rudolph, Peterson, Harvin and the developing players like Sherels for the rest of the season. Looks like a Les Steckel kind of year at best. Perhaps next year we can be a team that wins 8 games and build from there.

Winfield historically lies about his injuries. He wants other teams to think he is going to play. This has been going on for years. Dont get me wrong, I love Winfield, but the guy is entering the world of being "injury prone".

Frazier must be walking around with a bag over his head in "unkonwn comic" style. To say that safety is not a position of need is ridiculous. We have had the worst safties in the league for at least two years. This is one clueless coach. He thought McNabb and Berrian could play too. We are doomed with him at the helm.
