Neither party takes it seriously. Dems tax and spend. Repubs borrow and spend. Everything should be on the table...military, business taxes etc.

Here's an idea--have the Republicans get out of women's health and focus on the country's health--I'm quite competent to take care of my own uterus, thank you.

Fire them all for not getting their job done (just like what happens to employees in the private sector), and make them not eligible for re-election for 6 years.

Q: Why can't Congress resolve budget gridlock? A: Because they don't want to. In our hyperpartisain world, the parties don't want to agree. If one party proposes to be in favor of Mom and apple pie, the other will fight it.

It's really quite simple. When one entire political party has signed a pledge to a lobbyist, who hold NO public office, the system is broken. Only the American people can fix it by demanding an end to the power of lobbyists, and an end to corporate funded elections. Ammend the Constitution to firmly state that corporations are NOT people.

The GOP/Tea Party is so intent on keeping Obama at one term that they simple cannot focus on doing the job they were elected to do. Congress is a disgrace!!

This is such a straw man argument. The dems passed obamacare, stimulus and dodd/frank all disaters. Now the liberal press is calling for bipartisan cooperation to get something done, what a shallow attempt to distract us from the real problem.....SPENDING, SPENDING, SPENDING.

The GOP and a handfull of Tea partiers are just part of the problem, the democrats are confused as well. Dont worry Obama will be a 1 term president without any help, hes doing real good on his own. If you dont like what you see, vote in November and run out any incumbant.
