She sounds like a common sense down to earth person. We wish her well and give her strength to continue in this arena.

I think Carol LeDoux is one of the best representative of Anoka County we have ever had. She comes from a business background and makes really good decisions for the taxpayers. She is also a very compassionate woman. I hope she stay around for a long time.

She ran a very elusive campaign as she clearly was running on her husband's name recognition. At the time of the election I talked with many people who had no clue it wasn't her husband running. At one point her website had quotes from her indicating she was enigma and with many unknowns. Huh? It was very odd and quickly removed from her website. I'm all for new people serving in political office as it isn't rocket science and political offices were meant for common folk to serve and not professional politicians. That being said, it's nice to know a little about your candidate other than who they are related to. It's probably a little too early to judge so give her a year in the position and see what she has done. In today's world the best people don't always get elected. Election results have a lot to do with who has the better name recognition, who has the most money or best campaign organization, etc. Our media and public schools certainly don't help educate the public and future voters on what the candidates stand for, exposing the voting history of incumbants, and preparing our future voters to be able to make sound voting decisions. We all need to educate ourselves and make sure we are casting the best vote we can and supporting those candidates that we feel best represent us and best uphold and fight for our individual freedoms and economic liberties. God Bless America.

I like the fact that Carol votes on issues after understanding the issue, not opposite of the other commissioners out of pure spite... something some of the commissioners could take note of.
