This game was definitely not an All-Star game. Most fans that were there were there for Adrian Peterson. These games are terribly boring, and can make fans see why Michael Beasley and others are such bad NBA players after having prolific college careers, they just don't have the work ethic and dedication to become All-Stars. Beasley was air-balling shots and turning the ball over quite often, you play like you practice and Michael Beasley practices like the game is one big joke, no wonder he is a number two draft pick bust.

Not the most well-run promotion, but at least Beasley is putting in some effort, and it did generate some money for charity. For those who are ripping on this game, you need to take it for what it is and not try to compare it to what an NBA game is. I'm the first to rip on a pro athlete (read my 8,629 posts on Joe Mauer this year), but Beasley deserves some kudos for this.

Thanks for doing this, M. Beasley and Wolves players. Looking forward with hope to a resolution that is fair to all parties so we can have an NBA season. Go Wolves!

Very nice of players to do charity event. But don't feel bad for the fans - we don't miss the NBA or the players.

The more the NFL, college football and basketball kick into gear and start jockeying for playoffs, bowl games, national rankings and such, few will care what the NBA does. Hey, maybe wait till after the Super Bowl, then play a 20-game season and start the playoffs that will run into June. Now that might be exciting...or not.

I'm guessing the comments made about the NBA going away are made by good ol' boys who don't like watching a game made up of predominantly black players?
