The Minneapolis Farmers Market is NOT the place for the Vikings Stadium.

I am also interested in selling my property, and that was barely half. The other 6 hold out and really nail the tax payers. What a joke, just go away with this garbage. If they don't figure out a way to get Ramsey county to pay for it, then buh bye. I am done kicking in anymore to my county and state tax burden for pro sports. Study, after study, PROVE, they do not bring in the money people claim they will. Google it, and get on with your good bye party plans.

Bagley's refusal to meet with developers shows that Wilf is more interested in building a 21,000 car parking lot than supporting a stadium project that makes sense for the metro and state.

Still haven't heard why Wilf and the NFL are unable and unwilling to finance their stadium on their own.

Let Ardien Hills have it. I'm tired of subsidizing the rest of the state.

I live in Las Vegas. I make it a point to come to Minneapolis once a year to a Vikes game. I buy a minimum of 4 tickets to the game and usually fly Delta (because I have a group of friends that join my wife and I). We usually stay 2-3 nights in a hotel, and we rent a car. During this stay, we eat at local restaurants, bars, etc; we go to Mall of America and other shopping. Then there is the money we spend on game day. You people in MN don't realize how much revenue you will miss out on when out of state fans quit coming to Minnesota. In the southwest states (Arizona, California), we go to Vikings games. Easily HALF the stadium crowd is purple....there are a lot of us out here and in other parts of the country. We love to travel to see our team. It's great to come BACK to Minnesota and put some money back home where it belongs. Unfortunately, you are making it FAR too easy for us to put it elsewhere, should you allow this fiasco to continue. Los Angeles already STOLE the Lakers from us!!! In the long run, this is going to HURT the state of Minnesota more than you realize....look to the future

From the beginning, I've always thought that Minneapolis would be the better site for a new stadium, but they've had ten years or more to come up with a plan and haven't done it. Now at the last minute they're frantically trying to get back into the stadium game. I say you had your chance and blew it, now get behind Arden Hills if you want the Vikings to stay in Minnesota.

I see two very simple math problems here. 1. How is Minneapolis going to come up with any share of their $895 proposal? 2. The Vikings won't even look at the John Marty proposal, where they get the Metrodome free and clear. Here is where the math fails. The Metrodome is free money. A couple of years ago, a study showed that for $150-$200 million the dome could be brought up to showplace standards. So the Vikings investment would be around $200 Million and they get ALL the revenue the dome brings in. But instead, the Wilf's apparently would rather spend $400-$500 or their own money, toward a stadium that they don't own, and pay another $20 million a year in rent. Anybody think that the New Jersey Billionare might have something sneaky up his sleeve?

Every morning I get up and push one out but unlike Ziggy I don't try to get the taxpyaers involved.

"Vikings say they're with Arden Hills." Aahh. If we build it for you, you will play where we tell you to play.
