Not to diminish what Rodgers has done...but let's be honest...and fair here. The NFL has never been so average as it is right now..and last year. The talent pool is so spread out, we have a lot of very average to above avg. ( some would say "good") teams that can be legitimate SB contenders. There are no real "Great" teams that we saw in the 70's, 80's and 90's...even at the beginning of the past decade. Look at the AFC/NFC playoffs last year...was any one team that great? No...there were a lot of above avg. to good teams...every team had glaring weaknesses as do the Packers this year.. Mediocrity rules the day in the NFL. They have leveled the playing field for everyone.

While your characterization of the rest of the league is somewhat correct, where exactly is the "glaring weakness" on the Packer team? They give up a lot of yards and hardly any points? If the Vikings were 6-0 and 12-0 in their last twelve games including a Super Bowl win would you characterize them as "average to above average"? The Packers have victories this season over New Orleans, Atlanta, and Chicago the number 1 and 2 ranked teams last year and the defending Super Bowl champs from a year ago. Like it or not, the Packers haven't even hit their stride yet. When they do, you'll see a great team. You might even see it Sunday.
