Ahh, the description of the lobby etc recalls days of yore, when Minnesotans from near and far gathered in the great lobbies of places gone like the Curtiss Hotel, Leamington, and so on. Gone are the days when any could go in enjoy the big places and feel like a stranger or out of place. Too much is built for the big biz traveler and conventions and not nearly enough for family travelers and too many 'trendy' restaurants that come and go, while great places like Murray's remain and places gone like Charlie's, Harry's, Nankin are legends.
