The Penguins were set up to be had, but the Wild showed once again a lack of fire at the start.

So far this team is not living up to expectations. At least Gillies and Bulmer are showing some life....Heatley has been missing in action.

In all due respect, hotrod921, I do see gaping weaknesses: 1)No battle from line #1; 2)Not enough skating/foot movement from line #1; 3)No finish from line #1. But just wait till Heatley gets in the line up. What? He's been playing? Maybe trade him and Setoguchi for SJ Def Burns.... Season could be over by Thanksgiving...Is Lemaire answering his phone?

Fletch, I hope you still have Johnny Maddens phone number. He wasn't an offensive wunderkind, but the dude could play some defense. Plus. I'm gettin tired already hearing about the team is still "learning" Yeow-sers "system". What is it that is so hard to learn? I have been watching the game for 50 years and the only two hockey revolutionaries I have seen in my time were the soviets and herbie. What in the h-e-double hockey sticks is so hard to learn here? We got flying saucers between the blue lines?? Invisible lasers tripping opponents on odd man rushes?? What??? Fletch, 6 games in and the natives are getting restless...

I still have faith in this team...at least on paper this team should be playoffs bound: Koivu, Heatley, Seto, Lats, PMB, Cullen, with the youngsters in Colton Gillies, Bulmer playing well...how can possibly this team be losing as much as they have?! Besides the red wings game, where they simply didn't belong, one must feel they should have won all of the rest..yet they didn't. Heater has not played up to expectations for sure..hopefully he won't want to be traded in a week (based on his history).

Backstrom can't leave soon enough. He should have had Neal's shot. Totally deflated the comeback effort. Put PMB on the same bus out of town. Looks like Lats was really energized by his goal.
