Playing at home against an injury-riddled Penguin team...you gotta take advantage. Let's get 2 points tonight. GO WILD!

We have to beat the Pens while they're down(Crosby not back yet, Malkin still hurt, Kennedy out). Pitt won't be happy about losing to the Jets last night, so I think they'll play angry. I hope the boys attack early and often, with the 1st line leading the way. Go Wild!

While I certainly want to see the Wild get 2 points out of this one, I also realize that we won't really learn anything positive about the progress of the team from this game. On the other hand, we could learn some negative things if they play badly. They aren't going to get better if they aren't challenged...the Detroit game is a good case in point. They played pretty well for most of the game, but got nailed when they got running around in their own zone, making bad decisions when they were tired. Yeo saw that, and the next day ran a practice that concentrated on that area. What do you learn in a positive vein if you aren't challenged?
