I might be wrong, but rather than berate the Vikings for this latest debacle, I simply would say they are not talented enough to win against most NFL teams. That being said, there is no reason to expect much more from them than what has become commonplace thus far. Fortunately, NFL football games are only a form of entertainment -- in this case, the Vikings are not very entertaining at all!

Do you notice where they run the ball mostly? On Jarred Allen's side. Most of his sacks have been " excuse me I ran into you". He is NOT as great as everyone thinks!

The Bears ran up the middle for the biggest gains - the problem was on passing downs - their wideouts (2 or 3) were better than our D-back - they used a 7 - 8 man protection most of the night. 7-8 against 4 means you're not going to get to the QB

"Where do we go from here?" Allen asked. "Up. That's the only place we can go right now." Guess what. You still can go further down- I'm guessing Green Bay may lay 50+ on our boys by the end of the 3rd quarter...

The NFL trading deadline is next Tuesday. The Vikings need to remove some dead wood in exchange for draft picks. Unacceptable is all I can say.

Gashed by the run and destroyed through the air. McNabb was at his best for the year, which was still awful.

On the road against decent teams, when the opposing offense in their home field can actually hear the snap count, Allen as well as the Viking's way overrated pass rush, do not get that cheap split second jump on the blocking O-line, and that O-line jams them back into place. Thus, cheap sacks like the ones Allen and crew usually get in their own ridiculous crackel barrel amped up noise dome are greatly reduced, getting only one last night resulting in the equally ridiculous (considering this lopsided game) cheerleader's "rodeo dance" by this Viking who lived up to his billing as shining brightest only in his own home town...

Teams do the same thing to Dwight Freeney...Is he not great? Slamming Jared Allen seems a bit odd. Ced is a problem...he has the heart but his legs are toast....he gets beat every week. Is it my immagination or is EJ getting thrown around like a rag doll? When teams max protect like the bears did you have to bring some safeties and rely on your corners to play man to man. The bears set the tone and we did nothing to alter it.....at least Ponder saw some action and looked pretty good..

At least Jared Allen dominated the offensive line all night long. None of those cheap sacks against terrible offensive lines like the Cardinals for 3rd string offensive players like the Packers played 2 or 3 years ago. Nope Allen just dominated the Bears offensive line that had given up like 25 sacks in the first 5 games. Truly an All-World, All Hall of Fame, All Time All Pro. Well as long as he is playing some 2nd or 3rd string offensive lineman.

"Now we have to go back to work to play the spoiler card and knock off as many teams as we can along the way." And just who in the heck would that be? This team couldn't beat a team comprised of baton twirlers (no offense meant to baton twirlers). Horribly embarassing!
