I agree that the quality of a team's management has much more to do with its ability to be competitive than any CBA system that's in place. Being able to astutely select a couple star players in the draft is THE key in the NBA. But I would like to see something done about those guaranteed contracts. Remember Mark Blount?...Five years of guaranteed money is too long for all but the best players.
