Watched some of the third period and couldn't believe the empty seats! Where are the Bulldog fans. Oh, and how many of our tax dollars funded this arena? Where is the outrage?! Lets get a Viking stadium done!

Webster defines the word perfect as: having no defect or fault; flawless; accurate; absolute. The gooooooooofers winning tonight's game is a "perfect" example of how the better team doesn't always win. Out shot, out played, out hit and ALWAYS out classed. GO SIOUX.........

So it stung ya, huh, rinkpig1? Thought we'd hear from you. You're right--this Gophers team is bigger, faster, more skilled than recent editions. I'd be concerned if I were you, too.

Nah...Rinkpig is a closet Gopher fan, he just doesn't want to admit it.

So that was a nice win - they did what they needed to do to get the puck in the net. Definitely an improvement in play and movement from previous seasons and glad they made a statement in their opening test against real competition. They will need to pick it up a couple notches tomorrow night - they looked a bit sloppy in their end at times and were outplayed in the corners. Keep the UMD snipers outside and pound them (marshall) when they try to break in to the net. The D did a good job but need to be better protecting the house. The dawgs will be out for blood tomorrow night. You can't pull a win off too often when your goalie faces nearly 50 shots. Go Gophers - keep the pups on their leash!

That was a heck of a game. The Gophers didn't give up, and that is already an improvement.
