Too bad to lose the collection as a group but I have to hand it to Lester for not letting his stuff run his life. When he goes to Cody I'd tell him to hang take along a few conversation pieces though. Indian lore is alive and well in the west. He's going to have a blast. Always keep another adventure in the back of your plans for emergencies.

Nice story. Aging and change is tough stuff - Sounds like this couple has a decent grasp on it. Best of luck to them. Hope WY meets their expectations.

This story kind of makes me sad, not only for Lester and his wife personally, but for what they've observed in our modern culture: "teachers are anti-gun", kids have "absolutely no interest in history", and tourists buses "all go strictly to casinos nowadays." All the best to this unique couple as they head out to pleasant pastures in Wyoming.

Many teachers these days are indeed anti-gun AND anti-hunting. Thus, they'd want to keep their students away from BOTH guns and animal mounts.... especially if those two elements are connected by being displayed in the same room. I'd guess animal mounts in a "natural history" museum would be ok by them, though, sheesh. And yeah, too many of today's kids have little interest in history. And yet, they will play their first-person-shooter or fantasy WOW computer games for hours-on-end, but can't be bothered with the reality of *their own* history.
