While shelter may be a "basic human right," it doesn't mean that one must be given shelter at all times no matter what they're doing.

The rules were clear. No overnight structures. What do these protesters not understand about this? Get a hotel room, use Airbnb.com or shack up with friends. It's not that complicated. Also, am I the only one, who when I read about this, think to myself, "Why don't these people have jobs they have to be at?"

Yes they have a right to protest but not to camp over night. If they want shelter perhaps a few nights in the county lock up will be the best solution

Let them put up their tents. Let them stay their for weeks. Eventually they will figure out that they are not the 99%, and that they are just a handful of self made victims with which a bored local media has fallen in love. In the meantime, the rest of us 99% can continue to hold our noses as we walk past them.

Typical liberals, the rules are never meant for them. Their usual response is: "our cause is too important to obey the rules!".

Pitch a tent and the county will be more than happy to provide you with housing, Holiday Inn: Workhouse Edition. Human shelter is a human need, but have they ever considered occupying and renting a place of their own?
