#1 "This season, those responsibilities will fall to one of two inexperienced players" ... if Tubby's Big 10 tenure has taught him anything, it should be that you need more than one point in this game - at this level.

No mention of Mo? Last year he showed a lot of promise before the injury. If he can pick up where he left off the middle will be a lot stronger. I can't imagine some 190 lb hotshot slashing to the basket with Mo, hulking presence waiting to hammer him.

I get tired of hearing about Tubby's contract. Whether you like him as a coach or not (and I like him), coaches shouldn't be judged on a sliding scale based on salary. Would a 5 win season be OK if he were the lowest paid coach in the country? This is a pivotal year for Tubby, regardless of salary. He's had time to build and recruit and establish his style. We need progress! Go Tubby! Ski-U-Mah!

I agree about Mo Walker's postive showing last year prior to injury. I heard his knee may take additional time for healing that would prevent early contributions. Anyone know more about this...hope it's not an issue as he could play a big role in teams season?

# 1 ..... Hire an Athletic Director that sets the bar a little higher & demands results

Here's my 5 things: Go back to being a dirty program and pay some recruits to come to MN, setup recruits with paid escorts, start recruiting Chicago and New York playgrounds, bypass all entrance requirements and lastly move to a different conference and take the football team with you!

Hire a freethrow shooting expert? You mean like almost any high school girl basketball player? They don't need any expert, just practice. I might be out in left field, but I blame sportscenter. Boys watch the highlights and go out and try to dunk, not shoot freethrows.

The loss of Iverson should improve the free throw percentage by at least 15%.

Ralph sampson has no heart and Colton Iverson stinks..I bet Mkwabe could beat them both up at the same time with one arm tied behind his back..go gophers!
