Occupy DC is having protests at the Senate Office Building. People getting arrested there are saying both parties and Obama are all Wall Street puppets. Getting warmer, everyone!

I just got back from grabbing lunch downtown and didn't see or hear anyone protesting. There was a faint whiff of urine in the air by government center though.

I saw that one of the protesters stated that they were "in for the long haul, even if temps fall to 45 degrees". Hehehe, that should be next week at night. We'll see how their resolve holds up then.

I wondered what all that garbage was in the street when I looked out my office window. These protesters have one or two good idea, but the rest is far far left wing.

Ah, democracy in action! Freedom of expression, freedom of public assembly, used to counter to the greed and corruption that is destroying the working and middle class. Good work, people, way to stand up for the American dream!

The rally is misdirected. Don't march on Wells Fargo and TCF. March on the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank!!! Wells Fargo and TCF paid back their TARP money with interest. The real harm is being done by the Fed's zero interest policy that is forcing savers, including the elderly, to spend their savings to live because they make NO interest on their savings.

Not sure about TCF, but Wells Fargo was forced to be bailed out and paid the money back as soon as they were allowed to. So dont protest them for being bailed out. But of course, these protesters are too ignorant to realize that.
