Why not hire a Minnesota artist to do the portrait? We have several great Minn. artists who could have done the portrait.

Really both hands should have been in the pockets. That would be a more natural depiction of his term.

I don't like my tax dollars paying for this!!! What a waste!!! He should have paid for it out of his pocket. He took money from my pocket!!

The more the Dems complain about our former governor, the more they must fear him. He did win two statewide elections. Maybe he'll be the one to take out Franken??

"That's a decision we made and it was the wrong call," he said. Think of the thousands of times he could have uttered those words as Guv. Thank goodness for Garmin, so he could find his way to the Capitol.

Good, bad, or indifferent he served our state for eight years doing what he thought was right. You don't have to agree with him but you should respect his service. I think it's a great portrait.
