Chip Scoggins: First victory by no means lets McNabb off the hook

A 28-0 first-quarter lead couldn't disguise the fact that Donovan McNabb continued to throw errant passes.

Yeah - the fans do want to see more ... more production out of the QB position! Not mentioned above is the fact that McNabb missed an wide open Harvin for a sure TD. Take a seat, pal!

The team is going no where with McNabb. True he is not turning the ball over but he is not moving the chains either. Anyone can drill a incomplete pass into the ground at the recievers feet. Then have a big smile "Just missed that one" look on his face. Look to the future and get Ponder some experience.

I was all for this experiment when it started. They should have bailed on him after last weeks game. The outcome today would have been better because we would have a young confident QB going into then next week with a big win under his belt.

Tell us again why did we draft Ponder #1 ????

With a minute to go, why wouldn't you at least give the ball to AP instead of taking a knee ? If he has that little confidence in McNabb, why is he starting next week ? Let's face it - Frazier is gutless and clueless....

McNabb has proven he can't be even an average quarterback in this league. His decision making is slow and can't make a simple five yard pass to the sideline (bounced two of them in front of his receivers). His big pass of the day "wobbled" to Aromashodu and fortunate no one was within five yards of the play or could have been picked off. My feeling is Donovan has taken too many hits over the past few seasons which is starting to take it's toll. Time to go with the younger, more lucid and mobile quarterback..

how about a little credit for our new left tackle. he is doing a much better job than mckinney did the past few seasons.

all this win did was bought mcnabb more time that he really doesn't deserve because vikings did not win because of him. Viking won today because of the absolute dominance of Jared Allen and Brian Robinson and the rest of the defense, Special teams, and Adrian Peterson. And of course we won also because we played the Arizona Cardinals who seems to have an equally incompetent QB as McNabb too. Its funny how they're both former Eagles. Oh by the way speaking of eagles QB, Vick had a horrible day too. Pathetic eagles qbs.
