The truly silly part of all of this is that the federal government allows companies who move their plants out of the United States to deduct the expenses related to those moves from their federal income tax. Dumb! Congress should put a stop to this silliness!

THE ONLY REASON Obama refused to send the legislation over to Capital Hill until now was the unions were against it. I'm sure the hard core liberals are still against it.

Nooooooo. What are those clowns thinking? Stupid one-sided "fair" trade agreements are what started the giant sucking sound of American jobs in the first place. Further proof that Washington just simply doesn't care about America, only the corporations.

Well, you could actually write to your members of the House and Senate and PROMISE to work for their defeat if they vote for this latest rip off of the American Worker. If anyone can name me a treaty that resulted in a net gain of jobs here rather than a loss, I would love to see the data. Caveat, no industry mouthpieces count. I want independent sources only. No? I didn't think so.

When will congress learn that free trade does not mean equal trade and guess what nation ALWAYS comes out on the short side of this? I know, they will learn, hopefully, about a year from this November.

Time for the media to go to work on this one. Find out what is manufactured in these three countries, and compare the manufacturing costs to the USA product. I have heard it said from MANY politicians, that we must compete in a global economy. Tell that to the workers who are getting minimum wage and about to lose their jobs to a company from a third world nation, that is going to produce those same products, and now sell them at Walmart, for a small percent. AND NO, this has nothing to do with UNIONS....

I listened to a broadcast on TV where this situation was discussed relative to past history. It was almost unanimous from the panel of experts, not amateurs, that jobs are being sent out, and cheap products coming back in. The solution is a four letter word to business, tariff, to level the playing field. OK, I lied about the four letter word, but you get the idea. When is our own congress, going to protect our own middle class workers instead of shaking hands with corporate CEOs? And they wonder why people are demonstrating for equality? Shame on them.

If corporate leaders want to move their businesses to these countries, under the guise of high USA taxes, instead of admitting they are moving for the cheap labor, then let them go. When they say it is our baseball, and we will take it with us when we leave, as a threat, maybe it is time for the USA to play a different game. The great thing about a democracy, is when this happens, and a company moves out, there is someone who will step in and start up a new company, IF congress will acting responsibly. An example of this not happening is the textile and shoe industries. Put a huge tariff on these products coming in to the USA and watch this industry spring to life in the USA with American workers. What's that? Higher prices for the consumer? At least we are REALLY creating jobs instead of pretending, which is what congress is doing now. We have met the enemy, and they are us.
