The speed came as advertised, and the Wild blueliners even joined the fun in the season opener.

Great first period and a half. Disappointing 3rd. Seeing a lot of good things out there. I like the puck movement and keeping it in the offensive end. Can't wait for the Islanders and Senators games. Let's go Wild!!

Good game boyz! We JUST missed on what, three other goals! They guys looked good tonight, for their first game. Yah, they will make the playoffs, you heard it here first! The team was well prepared, what to go coach!

Cliffhockeyy, are you saying that the Wild took off the last period of play and did not work hard reckon ? If that is the case maybe Bluesky ought to adjust his poster to reflect what was going on in the game. Bluejackets are kind of a blah team could the Wild have schedled an easier start, the Jackets, Islanders Oilers and Seanators, what is that the worst 4 teams in the league last year ? good job Fletch !

the Wild was alright to watch when they efficiently played lemaire's counter-punching style, but they're out-and-out fun to watch when they play chairman yeo's pressuring attacking style.

Can they live up to the standards set by the LINX? Way to go ladies.

Loved 80% of that game. I'd like to see Lats activated a bit more on that second line, but he's a big body and just his presence around the net is dangerous. I gotta say, not only is Heater one hell of a scorer, but he is a great playmaker AND HE CAN PLAY DEFENSE. What?! Let's go get another W boys Calgary and Aves lost their games and Van went into overtime last night....were on top of our division lets keep er that way!

Great to see that first line perform as promised. They were dominant, and look like they will control the ice most of the time. The second line was very dangerous as well. Cullen was everywhere. PMB was free to do what he does best. At least for one night, the Wild had the better talent on the ice.

The Wild looked great tonight, even better than I expected. If they can stay healthy they are going to surprise some people this season. Go Wild!

Exciting game. Wild had a lot of quality shots tonight. Talent looks awfully good. Only question I have is part way through the season when they have some loses will the egos come out and start ignoring the coach.

They scored early and often, and Backstrom was lights out. Nice start, Wild!
