Graham is nothing more than a snake oil salesman which speaks volumes as to the credibility of this so called institute of higher learning.

Graham said: "I ... would have steered clear of politics. I'm grateful for the opportunities God gave me to minister to people in high places; people in power have spiritual and personal needs like everyone else, and often they have no one to talk to. But looking back I know I sometimes crossed the line, and I wouldn't do that now." We often hear the religious bigots and right wing politicians apologizing for their transactions against humanity as they age.

Such hate. The sad thing is that if Billy knew what these commenters were posting here he would simply pray for them. This man was and is a positiive influence for millions of people, and i for one am happy to see him memorialized.

Billy Graham did more positive things for this country than probably any poster on this blog could ever dream to do. Especially the negative bloggers. He is the type of person this country was based on.

Northwestern is a first rate institution. The blogger calling into question this college's credibility doesn't know what he's talking about. Hateful people are really tiring. Maybe that's their strategy. Perhaps that's why the struggle for what's right is called a spiritual battle. I'm sure Billy Graham, at age 93, battling numerous physical challenges, is still praying for them.

I met the Rev. Graham and his late wife Ruth while they were visiting the Mayo Clinic and staying in my hotel a little over ten years ago. Probably the kindest, most unassuming and caring couple I have ever encountered. The antithesis of the ego filled leaders of many organizations, countries and corporations. He has only one goal and message, and that is to spread the gospel to all that will listen. If you ever witnessed his TV sermons, you never heard the aforementioned selling of "snake oil" or a hand out for money like many TV evangelists tend to gravitate towards. He only spoke the Word of God.
