Why my toddler designed the exact same thing with his colorful wood blocks at nursery school - his teacher did say he was talented.

Hey mpissell, Thank you for your comment. I'm probably,of almost average intelligence, but your post made me feel smarter. Just because Gehry's volumes remind you of a toddlers play-block arangement does not mean a little kid could design and give construction directions for this building.

Hey pinster44, having spent several years in construction, architects rarely, if ever, give instructions for their buildings. It is almost always dumped on the engineers to figure out how to make their grandious ideas reality. Gehry may be world renowned but his buildings still look like things toddlers put together.

Ranger 78, I'm guessing your construction background did not include observing discussions between architects and assorted engineers. Frank Gehry is not clueless about structural requirements. Architects that design big complicated buildings require all sorts of "adult" skills in making sense of, incorporating and challenging an engineer's inputs. I guess I'm not that up on toddler's arrangements, but don't recall too many tykes playing with wood, glass, bricks and metal panels. I'm o.k. that this guesthouse is playful and reminds you of how toddlers put things together. I noticed you did not offer an alternate. Enjoy some Albert Speer. That dude's buildings differed from how toddlers put things together.
