Vikings quarterback Donovan McNabb, who has struggled in an 0-4 start, might get a chance to throw deep against a leaky Cardinals secondary.

Riiiiiiiiiiight, I can't wait to see this...it should go a long way toward us getting Andrew Luck, which I also can't wait for.

Thank goodness they won't be as formidable as the vaunted Chiefs defense we faced last week.

yamiletmoore is correct. The chances of making the playoffs are gone. All that can be done to salvage the season is to get rookies some good experience to be that much better next year. It is also time to get 2nd & 3rd year players some experience as well. The veterans will not be with this team forever and to make the transition that much less painful-get the young guys some reps.

McNabb can't complete the long ball against the scout team, much less do it in a real game. He has slipped a whole bunch the last couple of years.

What good is an inaccurate long ball? And to whom? I really don't think McNabb will have time for a long ball. You need a QB that can buy time, and throw an accurate long ball. I like the strategy though, leave things status quo, and we get the #1 pick in the draft next year.

Ah yes, McNabb just needs a crappy defense to face and he turns it loose. Look out now!

It's too bad that Harvin stepped out after having one foot inbounds, he needs to watch some Chris Carter film. That catch would have been routine.
