To get to the food and golf, the players have to get past a day with an Army Ranger.

Mister Know it all says: I said this last year when the Wild had all of these big shot motivational speakers. I don't think it could be argued that Leo spends by far the lowest amount of money when it comes to the coaching and management/leadership that makes up the Wild, so the very best most expensive motivational speakers/team building experts does no damage to the budget in comparison to like the Rangers or Devils for example. I am sure that this is part of the justification of hiring rookies in those areas reckon..... I doubt very seriously that Leo who is spending close to the cap on players is spending more than Naegele spent in the early years when his team was well under the cap and fans were complaining, the reason this is was because Mister Naegele hired very expensive leadership while spending below cap on players salaries..... I am just trying to keep this thing real and call a spade a spade reckon

Oh God, this is the first sign that this season is going to be bad when there is already a forced unity boot camp!

Let's hope this is Les Steckel II

I hope this is not a foreshadow of things to come (circa Les Steckel). Although the irony may be the beginning of the Yeo Paradox. I love a great story. I can't wait to see how this one will finish...

My first thought was les speckle too but this is another attempt to get the boys going for 2 to 3 weeks then get another motivational guy again

I dont know who Les Steckel is, but know how succcessful the Penguins have been in recent years. If the Army Rangers' efforts can make the Wild approach the success of the Penguins, the money will have been well-spent.

Unity camps are great. If you have no other point of reference watch "Remember the Titans". Forget Les Steckel. And one more thing, GO LINX.

Not meaning to be critical, Michael, because I respect your work. However, they're going to "rappel" off of a cliff, not "repel" off of the cliff. Rappelling is an exhilirating experience. I have experience repelling, too, but that usually involves girls (of the female persuasion) avoiding me.

This Spisso guy was doing things with the team last year also, he's not new to the team.

Makes me wonder how all these non-American players feel about joining the American militaristic ideal. Next stop, Afghanistan team building!
