The best anti-bully policy is self-enforced. If someone is threatening/harming you, you punch then square in the face. And if you see someone bullying another person, you punch them in the face. It worked great for a long, long time. But thanks to our education system turning kids into pansies, we instead get kids who cut themselves or bring guns to classrooms. Great alternative to a bloody nose.

We kids used to settle this on our own. I guess this is progress? The nanny state strikes again.

I have no tolerance for bullying; however, most kids who are bullied aren't gay. This issue has less to do with bullying than it does with compelling endorsement of a gay lifestyle.

"Several staff members said they were tripped up by a true/false statement that said: 'One of the goals of the Sexual Orientation Curriculum Policy is to ensure all of our students feel safe and respected in our classrooms and/or while participating in school activities.'" Have the goals of the policy been communicated as part of their training? If so, how is that an opinion question? It's a true/false question!
