Hey, Baby Joe, do you see that? Surgery right after the season ends, not six weeks later. Guess Revere doesn't care about missing hunting season.

Having "surgery" can mean many different things. Anything from a meniscus tear, to ligament tears to knee replacements. What's the story?

Why is he having so soon after the season ended? If it's fairly minor, he can still get in winter ball.

Mauer was told by the teams doctors that he didn't need surgery, it wasn't until he got a second opinion that he had the surgery. The team seems to lean towards rehab first, then surgery if that doesn't work (see also Neshek, Gibson, Liriano, etc...).

I guess that we have someone here that actually wants to be here next year.

I hope that we are just being tweeted, blogged and informed to death about all of these injuries in a way that we would never have learned about minor surgeries before. Seems like there isn't one fully healthy player on the team. Have a speedy recovery and great off-season, Ben.

WHY ARE MY POSTS BEING DELETED ? Mauer or Morneau doing the editing today ? Revere deserves credit for playing hurt while the golden twins Mr part time and Mr never show take time off for a head ache or a cold or a hang nail. Two babies. I would much rather see the TWINS play kids that want to play like Revere instead of mauer and morneau that are they for the money and not the love of the game... PATHETIC... Can you imagine a healthy Revere if he has been playing on a bad knee.... Thanks Ben nice job !!! Take mauers & morneau's money and give it to Ben. He deserves it

Uh oh, the Twins are going to be upset that Revere didn't unsuccessfully try rehab first.

Boston is stupid enough to get rid of Francona, we'll take him!! Scott freakin Ullger was actually on a list of potential names to replace him too, haha! Seriously though, HIRE FRANCONA!
