Game of awful mistakes tonight. Brodziak can't get the puck out of his own zone and a few seconds later the puck is going into his net off his skate. Wild are up 3-1 and on the powerplay but the Captain takes a brutal interference penalty in the offensive zone; nulifies the PP and the Notes score on the 4on4 to make it 3-2. On the game-winner, PMB should be thankful he has a one-way contract, because the play he made at his own blueline to turn the puck over, would have sent a rookie packing for the AHL. Lots of ugly passing tonight. Just not very clean at all. The Captain was the worst offender. His passing was as bad as it has ever been, especially in his own zone. Team will be better Friday against the Grease. Bulmer looks pretty good. Love the fact that he is making the Wild Brass make a decision on him. His goal tonight was a pure snipe. Cruised across the slot and whistled a wrister low to the opposite side. Good stuff. Wellman looked decent too. Cullen better start producing this year or he may find himself on the outside looking in.

That was a like a Vikings games this year. Decent first half, ugly second half. Zids turnovers led to at least two of the goals. Backstrom not very good at all. I thought he should have had several of those goals. I agree with deepbreath, Wellman was okay. Bulmer doing a lot of things that are going to make it difficult not to keep him. Scandella had a few nice rushes, though he does seem to be knocked off his feet fairly easily. Falk played a solid game, perhaps the most consistent of all the d'men tonight.

Looks like Bulmer is locking up a roster spot.

Was too busy to watch the stream last night, but watched the highlights and liked the way the top line moved the puck around on those 2 goals. And, how about that steal by Lats and then the kid shooting across his body into the low corner. I think if Bulmer can make the jump, that would be nice. If Houston was a choice, I would probably send him there, but since it isn't, let's keep him around. But, he'd have to play 12 minutes a game and maybe get a little PP time once in a while. It's nice to see guys pushing for a roster spot. Makes everyone play a little harder.

"...tuned him up pretty good". LOL! I like it! And I Bulmer's game. Lots of upside and he is already flashing some value right now.

Bulmer is better served developing in the minors, and getting more playing time than he would currently for the Wild. He is starting to look like a solid second-round pick for the current Wild brass.
