Thanks John for a great broadcasting career here and in your previous stops. I recall when a Baffoon named Tom Bernard (KQRS) made fun of you in your first year here with the Twins. You went on to be a part of our culture here. We'll miss you John. Good luck and Godspeed in your retirement.

Baseball on the radio in the summertime...true American pastime...whether you are in the garage, in the basement, out on the lake, at the cabin, on the deck/patio or driving in your car...nothing better than hearing John Gordon and Herb Carneal all of those years on WCCO. Thanks for the memories John!

I miss Herb Carneal. He'll always mean 'Twins on the radio' to me.

Good luck to Mr. Gordon in retirement, but nothing will beat the sound of Herb Carneal's voice drifting across the water on a Minnesota summer night!

John, you will be missed. I love the home spun humor and his every guy attitude. Every time he calls a game it's like a good friend sitting next to you and just chatting. Best of radio is Gordo on the radio talking baseball with the local station. A true ambassador for baseball and the Twins. For some he is nothing special but, that is the point. He is special because he was never bigger than the game. Big shoes to fill...
