So lets see, she gets farm subsidies, foster children payments, a husband who's business receives gov't program payments for his poor patients, and a high paying government job that will pay a pension. Her family on it's own is bankrupting this country. Go away Michelle.

No big surprise, she is a complete and total fraud and hypocrite. She's finished, and her only utility at this point is that she will continue to rip apart Perry and Romney.

What a joke of a story. This is a liberal reporter at a liberal newspaper trying to drum up a scandal. The headline suggests that Michele Bachmann is a hypocrite: She opposes farm subsidies while she collects them! But when you read the fine-print, there is simply no story here. The farm was owned by her father-in-law. Again--her father-in-law!. He died and left it to his kids (shocking). The father-in-law collected farm subsidies, not Michele Bachmann (note the difference). The farm has been rented since the father-in-law's death to someone who decided to apply for subsidies(note to ST: I don't know who the renter is, but he or she is NOT Michele Bachmann). How do these facts amount to a news story? Ms. Bachmann says she has never collected a dime from the feds. Do you have any proof to the contrary? And how lame is it to say that Michele Bachmann benefitted b/c the very fact that farm subsidie exist raises its value. This story should have never been printed; or, the headline should have been: "Records prove that Bachmann did not collect farm subsidies." Really, ST, the renter collecting subsidies should be held against the landlord. Ridiculous.

If she was really going by her so-called principles, she would decline the farm subsidies. Typical Republican hypocrisy: do as I say, not as I do.

This is not news and neither is her lying about it.

"A Republican lying. Huh. Who woulda thunk it?" -- Yeah because we know Dems never lie. Oh wait, "Laser-focused on jobs." "I'll close GITMO!" "I'll end the wars." "I'll end the Bush tax cuts!" "transparent gov't"
