Put this year in the books - start over fresh in 2012, healthy and ready to kick some butt....Acquire one power pitcher and one power hitting outfielder, and the Twins will be ready to go.......

Only a billionaire's money stands between another season similar to this one OR a new-look fresh start! Free agents purchased for sure, lots of released non-achievers who are dead weight, and lots of luck -- lots and lots! I didn't mention trades, because Delmon Young must be smiling at his "fate" of being sent to the Tigers, post-season play, etc. -- and I don't think anybody will offer much for the M & M boys anyway?

Delmon is a example of what this team could have been with just half astrik coaching.

Hey Twins, you just won 1 of 13 games! What are you going to do. "WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!!!" - Well this just put the exclamation point on why they suck. Clowns acting like they just one game 7 of the World Series. Minnesota fans and teams are just happy with winning division titles and breaking losing streaks. No motivation to improve. Welcome to the land of mediocrity, otherwise known as Loserville, USA.

Bolock54: I like your optimism. I think it'll take more than one pitcher and one OF (two starters, a good reliever, a cheap OF and a SS would be better). But it's good to have something to look forward to in the offseason.

@givinguphope: I know it seems silly to fans that a team that has lost so much is celebrating... but really, what do you expect them to do? They're relieved to end the losing streak. Just because the team's doing badly doesn't mean they have to wear all black and cry into their beers every day. Besides, for a lot of guys on the team (Benson, Parmelee, etc.), this is one of their first Major League wins. Hopefully, they'll get used to it, but it's probably a cool experience when it's brand new.
