This is the Pro-Poor part of the Destination 2025/Agenda 21 plan. Goodbye middle class, you folks seen as overconsuming and adding the most to global warming by being alive. If you think this is great, wait till you get a load of Act II.

tom56071 Sep. 22, 11 6:08 AM get rid of the unions and jobs will get better..........Mzaybe do a little research insted of listening to Rush. Look at the wages since Ronnie Reagan broke PATCO and see how "real" wages have shrunk since. I think bring unions back and make a strong middle class will make us great again.

"We're cutting back to basic cable". Aw c'mon, that isn't cutting back. Just hook up your new TV to that unused antenna in the attic or on the roof for TV that's free. The picture is great. The kids can spend more time on homework (they'll be better for it) and library books (which are also free).

We have unfortunately spent our self into poverty. And increasing taxes and further bloating the government is certainly not the answer.

Just remember when you see your property taxes increase on your less valuable home what Mr Tim Pawlenty taught us all. That being " the mere fact that your State Tax $ that used to fund LGA & pay for services may of been toyed with by OUR new GOP State lawmakers ,however the school bond issues amd property tax increases are directly a result of your city and county not being able to manage the resources they have" Hence NOT OUR FAULT AND HAS NO RELATIONSHIP TO " TAX CUTS " that will ensure " ALL THE JOB CREATORS KEEP CREATING ALL THOSE JOBS" GIVE ME A BREAK !!!!!!!!

Richardsor. Feel free to move to one of the many cities that does not rely on LGA and you wont have to worry about your taxes going up every time LGA is cut.

Quit importing poverty via legal immigration, illegal immigration and visa programs....we have plenty of poverty to last us for the next generation.

One problem in Minnesota is that people _try_ to act as if local society is suffering employment troubles like the rest of the nation. Whereas this is a provincial outpost that often gets hit later rather than sooner -- though it is highly likely that the good local job market 'won't last'.
