Given opportunity to end latest skid, Twins lose 10th straight

  • Article by: JOE CHRISTENSEN , Star Tribune

Their 10th loss in a row came in excruciating fashion, as they couldn't score with the bases loaded and no outs in the ninth.

The bottom of ninth pretty much summarizes the 2011 version of the Twins. What a shame this team has turned into.

let's offer him arbitration? I hope not - arbitration will get him 12.5+ next year: he will never get more than 8mill per for 2 + years if he declines- please Billy Boy, DONT offer it to him

(Facepalm) You can't make this stuff up anymore. Bases-loaded, nobody out, and down only by 1 and we STILL can't get at least the tying run home? Truly disgusting.

i agree,,,i like him,,,but this minn nice bs,,,has to end. that stadium will be empty sooner than u think,,,if this stuff keeps going on. first thing to go is the gm,,,than cuddy, span and morneau. this team is washed up and we have a overpaid baby behind the plate.

Sorry, I normally don't post twice but I have to vent a little bit. The headline should not read 'Seattle hands Twins their tenth loss. It should read 'the Twins hand the Twins their tenth loss. How can a team make the same mistakes and be lacking clutch hitting over and over and over? They just keep killing themselves!!

The Twins had me worried for a moment there. I thought they were gonna screw it up and possibly win. That #2 draft pick is theirs to claim if they keep playing like they are playing. And who knows, they still have an outside chance at #1.

Bases loaded, nobody out and the great Cruddy blows it again. Pathetic and typical. Fire the whole bunch of them and start over. There isn't a gamer on the whole team thanks to Buffet Billy and Gardenfire.
