Why not? Sure beats having to look for a real job with a resume devoid of any substantial accomplishments. Just what Romney needs -- a guy who couldn't make it to the first primary. I hope he isn't paying too much for the 2% boost.

That'll add another .002% to Romney's numbers.

Pawloser is more of a liability than a resource. Iowa was far more astute than us MN's at recognizing his smoke and mirror show. In 3 decades TPaw is the only Repub Gov candidate I couldn't bring my self to vote for. Don't believe for a second he would turn down a running mate offer. Phony.

As a conservative, I thought perhaps Romney had a real chance at the nomination and even considered "I could vote for this guy". Not with Pawlenty on the team. I don't particularly dislike Pawlenty, but there's something there that kind of reminds me of Alan Alda without the sense of humor.

He'll back pedal on that in 6 months. Just get out of politics, TP.

"there's something there that kind of reminds me of Alan Alda without the sense of humor." As much as we disagree on many issues, the colonel hit one out of the park with that comment!

A month ago Romnney's healthcare policy in Massachussets was a small version of Obama care in Pawlenty's opinion. Now he's the chosen genious to lead us out of this abyss Obama has gotten us into. Amazing what a few dollars to retire the debt from a doomed campaign from the beginning will do to one's opinion. Pawlenty's endorsement may swith 5 votes in South St Paul but that will be it. Perry will only get better so Tim enjoy your short term day in the sun...your boy has no chance. Like you he was doomed from the start.

"Perry will only get better" -- Perry is only there to make the other viable candidates appear sane.
