For goodness sakes, put in a racino at Canterbury Park! Prairie Meadows is a huge success in Iowa, and we could easily do the same thing here. A racino would fund the stadium along with other projects, without costing taxpayers. If you don't want to contribute to the Vikings stadium, fine. Don't play the slots.

The owner of the Vikings should follow the example set by the owner of the Cowboys and pay for it himself. He is the one who will get the profits, not the citizens of Minnesota.

a very noble cause and keeping the "Crown Jewel" of all sports teams in the entire upper midwest and the most popular sports franchise in the history of this entire region in Minnesota where they belong is priority number one around here! I wish I were there among great, caring Minnesotans who know what community pride is all about!

Why don't they head down to winter park and put the pressure on Zygi Stardust to fund his own stadium. It appears they have plenty of money to sign AP for 100 million for 7 years. Oddly enough if your prorate AP's contract for 30 years it's more than the Vikqueens are willing to pay for their stadium. Suckers!

I strongly believe the Vikings are heading to Los Angeles. It's probably already a done deal. Everything else is just posturing and stalling. The $1.3 billion dollar stadium is utterly ridiculous. Zygi knows Minnesota will never support it.

Tony Bennett is wrong. State law requires a referendum for sales tax increases. Asking for an exception to that really what is NOT democratic.

Look at what Morrie Lanning is answering to Question #4 on his own web site. "Fiscal restraint". Really? Blowing taxpayer money on subsidizing a stadium is fiscal restraint? Small Government. NOW.

A billion dollar stadium for a team ranked 28th out of 32 in value at 796 million. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2011/30/nfl-valuations-11_rank.html

MN is billions of $$$ in the red, we have one of the highest unemployment rates in the country and Ziggy Wilf has the audacity to expect the taxpayers to buy him, one of the richest men in the world, a stadium for that bunch of whiners. Let the leave. I will come down and help the, pack. IF HE WANTS A NEW STADIUM, THEN HE SHOULD PAY FOR IT!!!
