Charles Elias Washburn High School one of the best people i have every met. always a kind word and smile each and everyday. what a way to arrive to school. SGD class of "83"

The criteria for selection is so subjective that I wish we wouldn't have such a thing as a Hall of Fame. Inevitably people with great accomplishments, but ones that are not prominent in the public eye, will get overlooked or viewed with less status or recognition. How about a war hero, fire fighter, or doctor any of whom might have saved someone's life, but did so without a bunch of accolades. What if someone raised funds for a cause and did so continuously in their life. What makes one fit the Hall of Fame yet others don't. While not done so intentionally, I think a Hall of Fame in this setting can be demeaning to some.
