Funny how he's "ready to go" right when the season starts. I hope it's legit and he is ready to play and not that the game has gone to his head. We need Shiancoe and Rudolph to have a good year.

yeah...interesting he said 100% when most nfl vets will tell you that's not possible, you're never 100%. maybe he's just hinting that frazier purposefully held him out of preseason action to ensure his tweaked hamstring would rest and heal properly for the regular season

Really?? He can't even decide how he wants his first name to be pronounced.. Look for about 40 catches and a lot of drama from this overrated blow hard...

I've met Shank. One of the nicest guys on the team. I wish him well.

Ok proved your worth thus far as a clutch receiver, just continue to make big plays and key CATCHES-not drops and all the criticisms will be moot.

As a former Minnesotan living in Florida, it is nice to read the comment of "Samjazzy." Now like any faithful Viking fan I want to see results. Shiancoe obviously likes to talk and hopefully his actions on the field will prove he is not just "hot air!" Go Vikings!

I don't understand how meeting a guy once can qualify an overall wellness of a man's entire life but yeah, I wish him well too.

In general starters get held out way too much in the preseason, however as anyone whose pulled a hamstring can tell you, they should not be taken lightly. A "tweak" can easily turn into a full blown tear, usually when you try to hit that "5th gear" reaching for a ball, etc. A tear would sideline Shanko for 1/2 the season, and usually it takes a good year to fully recover from a hamstring tear. So I'm willing to give him a pass on this one. Now go produce Shanko!
