This was no oversight with regard to that brainiac.

This article about M Bachmann being left out....of course she should be left out. Being a "cheerleader", a parent, and a wanna-be presidential candidate does not warrant "hall of fame". My gosh!! She is not strong...in fact if you ask her district, they wonder who she is because she only showed up at election time to promote herself. Wait and see....she'll also nominate herself for the HoF.....good grief. argh

Perhaps the fine people who made the nominations saw the speech Bachmann gave from Waterloo, IA, calling it her home.

Garrison is a class act without being in the Hall of Fame. I can see why he would make that decision.

The Queen Cashew may belong in the Iowa Hall of Fame but in Mn it would be the Hall of Shame......she let us all know where her heart, intelligence (oxymoron)and values were and it seems to me it was from her home in Iowa. The Cashew is going to give us $2 gas within days of becoming President......sounds like a bribe to me, LOL

If I were an Anoka alumni, I would shudder to think Michele Bachmann's name would be placed on the wall of my alma mater. I'd be embarassed.

Why should Bachmann be voted in? She hasn't done anything..

Keillor is much smarter than I thought and is honest in his own accomplishments, while truly understanding who and why people belong in a Hall of Fame -- "Yet he speaks with reverence about inductee Stan Nelson, a legendary Anoka High football, basketball and baseball coach who was Keillor's gym teacher. "He was in the D-Day invasion of Normandy and won a medal for bravery," Keillor said. "That's a man worth honoring.""

No matter how one feels about Michelle Bachman, she deserves to be acknowledged. She is a female who is attempting to earn the GOP presidential nomination. She has "graced" the cover of numerous national publications, and deserves to be recognized for her achievements. And by the way, I'm no fan.
